Working Principle

The Coal Chute Blockage Cleaning Machine is newly-developed specialized equipment designed to resolve frequent blockage issues within feeding pipelines. These trouble-spots include coal chute clogging in coal-feeding systems of CFB (Circulating Fluidized-Bed) boilers in thermal power plants, pipe blockages in cement factories, coal-coking & chemical-industry pipelines, as well as material-conveying pipes in steel plants.
This block-clearing equipment runs safely and reliably. It occupies no internal pipe space and does not reduce material-throughput. Featuring high-output torque, low-noise operation, tight sealing and easy-to-use controls, it supports local manual-control, automatic operation and remote-control modes. It effectively cuts downtime losses caused by boiler shutdowns from pipe clogging, reduces manual-labor intensity and brings greater economic benefits for enterprises.

Design Philosophy

(1)Without damaging the original conveying pipeline, we install automatically-operated mechanical block-clearing units inside the pipe. The rotating scrapers run along the inner pipe wall for 360-degree dead-zone-free cleaning, which prevents material adhesion and arching fundamentally to eliminate pipe blockages.

(2)The machine is mounted on high-clogging sections where over 90% of pipeline block-ups occur. It optimizes overall material-flow conditions and thoroughly solves common problems including wall-sticking, material bridging and flow interruption.

(3)The unit adopts field-based automatic control with three operation modes: local, automatic and remote control. It delivers stable performance, low maintenance workload and easy installation, which makes it ideal for retrofitting coal chutes in front of boilers for thermal-power plants.

(4)It adapts to various coal types, perfectly suited for power plants burning blended peat, sludge and high-moisture coal.

(5)Optimized tight-sealing structure prevents dust leakage and air infiltration from the pipeline.

(6)Installation and replacement of scrapers are carried out externally outside the equipment housing, greatly improving operational safety for workers and extending service life while widening application scope.

(7)Applicable materials with specific-gravity ≤2.2: coal, magnesium ore powder, furfural residue and iron-ore powder. It works steadily regardless of material moisture-content.

Product Structure

Main Equipment Assembly
The upper-fixed section, middle power-drive section are constructed from wear-resistant alloy or stainless-steel. Internal scrapers are forged from alloy-steel with quenching-tempering and carburizing heat-treatment.

Control-System Assembly
It supports local, automatic and remote DCS control via PLC-DCS system. It can operate 24-hours continuously or run on automatic timed cycles.
