Intelligent Variable Inclination Vortex Anti-Blocking Machine

The Intelligent Variable Inclination Vortex Anti-Blocking Machine is a professional intelligent mechanical silo blockage removal solution designed for poor-flow bulk materials such as raw coal, iron ore powder and wet sludge. Mounted on the silo cone section, it addresses common silo faults: material arching, hanging, bridging and wall adhesion.

Working Principle

Material arching, bridging and wall adhesion mainly occur within about 3 meters above the feeding outlet, which gradually triggers blockage in upper silo sections. Our vortex-type machine adopts mechanically rotating multi-dimensional variable-inclination blades inside the adhesion-prone zone. While scraping adhered materials, the vortex blades drive materials to flow and change the falling position and inclination angle, switching central-pattern flow into overall vortex flow. This fundamentally eliminates conditions for silo bridging, material buildup and wall adhesion so that block-ups can be avoided and stable operation of conveying systems is secured.

(1)During operation, the slewing system rotates 360° alongside the inner silo wall. Variable-inclination vortex blades create a full-scale separation zone between raw materials and silo walls, continuously break adhesion points and prevent material buildup. Meanwhile, the blades adjust material drop-points and convert central flow into full vortex flow. Materials from upper silo sections flow down by gravity and move towards discharge openings under vortex effect so that block-ups will never occur.

(2)Under servo mode: once material shortage caused by block-up is detected, the machine automatically starts to clear obstructions and shuts down after troubleshooting and returns to standby status.

(3)Under intelligent module mode: start-stop intervals can be customized as required for automatic cyclic operation.

(1)360-Degree Rotatable Variable-Inclination Blades for Dead-Zone-Free Cleaning The built-in multi-dimensional rotating vortex blades perform forced cleaning against materials sticking to silo walls and drive distant materials inside silos. It changes material flow from central-pattern flow into overall vortex flow, expands flow area and speed for thorough block-prevention and removal.

(2)Compact Sealing Structure without Damaging Original Silo Structure All parts are precision-processed by CNC machine tools. Multiple labyrinth-type sealing structures effectively stop powder leakage at joints. The machine integrates perfectly with original silo without altering the silo structure and achieves attractive outlook.

(3)PLC and VFD Intelligent Control System Supported by PLC system, it supports local manual control, automatic circulation and remote DCS control. Running speed and intermittent working periods can be adjusted flexibly to match practical production with easy-to-operate settings.

(4)Wide Adaptability for Various Raw-Material Types It works well with lean coal, lignite and blended coal-sludge regardless of moisture and ash content, even when material moisture rises during seasonal storage and transportation.

(5)Extended Cleaning Coverage to Clear Distant Block-Ups Direct working zone reaches around 3500mm above feeding openings and its indirect effective coverage extends over 6000mm. After installation, the effective discharge area at silo bottom can be increased by 10 times. Extended-length vortex blades can pass through the gate valve to a position only 100mm above conveyor belts, eliminating block-ups between gate valves and feeders and solving material-slippage issues on belts.

(6)High Torque to Realize Full-Load Startup The vortex blades are made of high-toughness, low-friction and wear-resistant alloy materials. Blades will not deform under full-load conditions. The machine can start directly even if the silo is fully filled without emptying stored materials in advance.
