This main rotary silo clearing machine is widely used in thermal power raw coal bunkers, coal mine storage silos, coking plant coal towers and cement plant material silos, matching square cone, conical and hyperbolic silos.
The Rotary Silo Blockage Cleaning Machine features scraper-fixing from outside the silo body. It effectively eliminates material adhesion and block-up issues during discharging for raw-coal silos in thermal power plants and large-scale silos holding materials with specific gravity ≤2.6.
Applicable materials with specific-gravity up to 2.6 include coal, magnesium ore powder, furfural residue and mineral powder. It adapts to materials with any moisture content without restrictions.
The machine consists of an upper fixed-silo section connected to the outlet of the raw-material silo, a middle rotating-silo section containing static-blade separation zone and power-driving zone for upper-lower moving blades, and a lower fixed-silo section connecting to the slide gate valve at coal-feeder inlet.
Three scrapers are installed throughout the equipment: one upper moving blade, one lower moving blade and one middle stationary blade. The motor, reducer and slewing assembly drive the middle rotating-silo section to perform reciprocating rotary motion for blockage removal.
(1)Installation Location: The Rotary Silo Blockage Cleaning Machine is installed between the outlet of raw-coal silo and the inlet of coal feeder.
The top flange of this machine connects with the bottom flange of raw-coal silo or transition section; its bottom flange is joined with inlet flange of slide-gate valve mounted above the coal feeder.
(2)Structural Composition: The machine is divided into upper fixed section, middle rotating section and lower fixed section which can move relatively to each other. The cleaning assembly contains one stationary scraper plus two moving scrapers to achieve dead-zone-free cleaning inside the silo. All scrapers are mounted externally without personnel entering inside the silo.
(3)Benefits: It delivers high-output torque and supports full-load startup when the silo is fully filled. With PLC + DCS remote control, it can run 24-hour continuously, operate on a timed schedule, and activate automatically upon material shortage signals.
